CPH 30 TABLE oak 250 x 90 CM.
The HAY Copenhague CPH30 table is part of the Copenhague furniture collection designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The large table is equally suitable as a dining table or desk and has a low-maintenance linoleum finish for the top.
HAY invited the Bouroullec brothers to design the furniture for the new buildings of the University of Copenhagen (KUA). Due to the symmetrical frames and sleek legs, Copenhagen chairs and tables can both be stacked vertically, allowing for an almost infinite stacking. The Bouroullec brothers wanted to make furniture with more originality and a more homely look than traditional educational furniture. The Copenhague collection is suitable for both public and private use.
Note: In 2021, HAY renewed the surface treatments of its wooden furniture by replacing their paints and varnishes with more environmentally friendly water-based alternatives. Please note that as a result, natural wood furniture now only comes with one lacquer option instead of the previous two: the new water-based lacquer is glossier than the previously used matte lacquer, but slightly more matte than HAY's previous clear lacquer.
