The series of lamps called champagne from the Danish Pholc have a charming metal shade that designer Monika Mulder drew while the founder and product developer of the brand visited her studio. Her goal was to create a small lamp with a contemporary and straightforward design.

The Champagne collection consists of a beautiful hanging lamp and table lamp that fits in both a classic and modern interior.

About the designer:

Monika Mulder (1972) is a Dutch designer who graduated in 1997 from the Design Academy Eindhoven. Mulder started her career in the design department at IKEA, and since 2007 she has been running her own design studio in Gothenburg, with clients such as the design department lamps brand Pholc.

Mulder emphasizes the sculptural elements of objects in her design and wants to combine smooth functionality with beauty and playfulness. Mulder's work has been awarded prizes such as Best Furniture of the Year 2003 and Best Lamp of the Year 2017 in the Elle Decoration Swedish Design Awards.
