The Muuto Brink dining chair, designed by Thomas Bentzen, combines Scandinavian craftsmanship and contemporary design in a refined silhouette. The chair appears light and minimalist, yet thanks to a clever construction and advanced veneering technique, it offers surprising sturdiness and comfort. The subtle curve of the backrest and seat naturally supports the body, while the rounded edges ensure a pleasant seating experience, whether at the dining table or in a meeting room or hospitality venue.

The seat is crafted from molded veneer of FSC™-certified wood (FSC-C028824), consisting of a beech veneer core with a beautiful oak veneer outer layer. The conically shaped wooden base seamlessly aligns with the organic lines of the shell, giving the Brink a calm, harmonious appearance. The durable finish with a water-based lacquer emphasizes the natural wood grain and makes the chair suitable for daily use.

The Brink is available in an un-upholstered, partially upholstered, or fully upholstered version. The removable seat and back cushions make maintenance easy and offer extra flexibility. Moreover, the chair is designed for longevity: the key components, including the shell, base, and upholstery, can be disassembled individually and replaced if necessary.

Maintenance

Clean the wooden shell and the base with a soft, slightly damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild cleaning agent and avoid abrasive or harsh cleaning agents. After cleaning, dry the surface with a clean, soft cloth to optimally preserve the high-quality finish.
