The Muuto Brink dining chair with a cantilever base, designed by Thomas Bentzen, is a contemporary interpretation of the classic sled chair. The seat is crafted from molded FSC™-certified wood (FSC-C028824) and features a subtle curve that provides extra strength and ergonomic support. Rounded edges ensure a pleasant seating experience, while the slender lines reinforce the minimalist character of the design.

The chrome-plated or powder-coated cantilever base gives the Brink a dynamic appearance as well as subtle suspension. Thanks to the controlled flexibility of both the frame and the wooden seat, the chair moves naturally with the body, ensuring extra comfort during long dinners, meetings, or workdays. The graphic lines of the base create a powerful contrast with the warm appearance of the wood. The Brink is available in an un-upholstered, partially upholstered, or fully upholstered version. The removable seat and back cushions make the chair easy to maintain and offer extra flexibility. Like all Muuto designs, the Brink has been developed with sustainability in mind: the key components can be disassembled individually, making repair and replacement easy.

Maintenance

Clean the wooden seat with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For the steel base, use a soft cloth with a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive or harsh cleaning agents and carefully dry all surfaces after cleaning to optimally preserve the finish.
