The Convex rug is a hand-tufted carpet and also with a hand-carved pattern, designed by the Swedish Pia Wallén for Asplund.

The hand-tufted rugs from Swedish Asplund are made of 100% high-quality wool that is rich in natural fats that give the rug a natural shine and also provide very good protection against stains.

The colors selected by the designer are: 01 White, 03 Dark Grey, 05 Light Grey, 09 Green, 10 Olive, 11, Yellow, 12 Orange, 12 Red, 41 Khaki, 44 Bitter Chocolate, 54 Baby Pink or 49 Dark Fuchsia.

About the designer:

Pia Wallén is an experienced textile designer who has been active for over 20 years and is constantly up to date with her design products in textiles and especially felted wool. In 1991, Pia introduced two classics and design icons: the unisex wool slipper and the Crux blanket. Pia Wallén's design products are characterized by a modern appearance with a clear Swedish sense of tradition, playfulness and simplicity.
