Asplund - C Rug Dark Grey 63.

The rug C is a design by Anya Sebton & Eva Lilja Löwenhielm. The pattern is very subtle yet interesting. It is actually the Dhurrie weave (the base) that forms the pattern that gives the rug a unique look.

The technique used to make C carpet is extra time-consuming and requires exceptionally skilled professionals. The base of the rug is a hand-woven 100% wool Dhurrie (a fine blend of New Zealand and Indian wool) and the pattern/tuft is hand tied to the base. The edges have a beautiful contrasting color (Black Indigo).

Anya Sebton is an award-winning designer and interior designer. Her simple graphic style and solution-oriented view make her a highly regarded designer. At Anya Sebton, form is always in close interaction with function. Eva Lilja Löwenhielm has a multidisciplinary design studio in Stockholm called Lilja Löwenhielm Design, founded in 1996. The focus is on product design, residential and commercial interiors and visual retail concepts. Anya Sebton and Eva Lilja Löwenhielm met at the Beckmans School of Design. Today, the design duo has more than 15 years of design experience with a focus on developing high-quality products and innovative design.
