Description

Artek lounge chair 401 blue- red.

The comfortable Artek 401 armchair, a design classic by Alvar Aalto from 1933, was given a revamp by Dutch designer Hella Jongerius. She combined new lacquered finishes in silver birch, honey, walnut and charcoal with beautiful fabrics in contemporary hues. The 401 Armchair by Hella Jongerius deserves to be seen, also in your interior!

Armrests: “Silver Birch” lacquered, honey, walnut or charcoal stained. Seat and back: color block or unicolor upholstery with selected Hella Jongerius fabrics. Hella Jongerius’ reinterpretation of Alvar Aalto armchairs 400 and 401 together with Stool 60 is the beginning of a new collaboration on a crisp and tactile collection of Artek classics.
