bout A Stool AAS38 from HAY combines a sleek metal frame with a streamlined seat made of polypropylene. This is the result of a close collaboration between designer Hee Welling and HAY, About A Stool bar stools are part of the About A Chair collection of chairs with excellent simplicity and combinability.

With the About A Chair collection, Welling has reached a new level in the combination of form, function, comfort, detail and aesthetics. The idea behind the collection was to develop a chair that would work well around the dining table, around a conference table, but also in a restaurant, cafeteria or office.

Due to the simple and sleek design, the chairs can be combined with many types of furniture and various interiors.

The Hay About a Stool AAS 38 has a seat made of polypropylene in the colors black, brick, concrete grey, cream white, dusty blue, dusty green, grey, hunter, khaki, orange, pastel green, soft black, warm red and white. Despite its slim metal base, this bar stool stands very firmly on the floor.

The designer:

Hee Welling is a Danish designer who graduated as a designer from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen in 2003, specializing in product and furniture design. Hee Welling's designs are deeply rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition, which is reflected in his simple, functional and sophisticated designs. Form and function are the two important guidelines in his works.
