The Muuto Verso rug, designed by Sia Hurtigkarl, demonstrates how simplicity and craftsmanship come together in a refined Scandinavian design. Woven from 100% Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified New Zealand wool, the rug exudes a warm, natural look and feels wonderfully soft underfoot.

The traditional plain weave forms the basis of the design, where warp and weft are visibly interwoven. This creates a subtle play of texture, and the rug is identical on both sides, allowing it to be placed freely in the room. The hand-twisted fringes all around emphasize the artisanal character, while the combination of Pale Green and Warm Brown creates a calm layering that effortlessly complements both modern and timeless interiors.

Maintenance

For a long lifespan, it is recommended to vacuum the rug regularly using a flat nozzle without a rotating brush. Immediately and gently dab any stains with a clean, undyed cloth. Loose wool fibers in the initial period are a natural characteristic and will gradually decrease. An anti-slip mat is recommended to keep the rug firmly in place.
