The Maasto chair by Vaarnii stands out with its minimalistic appearance, in which Finnish pine plays the leading role, which is very characteristic of Vaarnii's furniture.

The minimalist chair consists of a frame of pine veneer combined with a sturdy seat and backrest, both made of solid pine. The Maasto armchair, designed by Ronan Bouroullec, may be simple in shape, but the various wood grain patterns of pine give it a captivating, varied look.

Pine is a soft wood and will develop dents and scratches over time. These should be embraced and appreciated as characteristic signs of aging. Pine will naturally change color as it ages. Your light furniture will gradually develop a beautiful honey color over the years.

Use a microfiber cloth to dust Vaarnii products. Do not use solvents on the wood, only water is recommended.

Ronan Bouroullec (born 1971) has built a long and successful career as a designer and is rightly one of the biggest names in French design. Originally from Brittany, Bouroullec now lives in Paris.
