The carpet called Tapis by Hay is a design by Julie Richoz, it has a rough, natural texture that is the result of a tactile mix of jute and cotton. From a distance, Tapis resembles an ordinary jute rug, but a closer look reveals a surprising detail: the subtle, natural color is actually a combination of off-white and lilac. The rug has a non-slip backing for extra functionality/stability.
