The Muuto Relevo Quattro rug brings together art, texture, and Scandinavian simplicity in a distinctive graphic design. The soft, hand-tufted surface of 100% New Zealand wool is finished at varying heights, creating a subtle relief that plays beautifully with light and shadow.

The name Relevo is derived from the Latin word for relief, and that is exactly what this collection is all about. Instead of merely adding color to the interior, Relevo creates depth and structure. The result is a rug that is both visually and tactilely interesting, while simultaneously adding warmth and comfort to the space.

Relevo Quattro – graphic and architectural

Whereas the original Relevo series is known for its sculptural form, Relevo Quattro deliberately opts for a clear rectangular shape with four corners. This gives the rug a more architectural character and makes it easy to place near a sofa, armchair, dining table, or in a spacious open area.

Fine lines run through the surface, forming a precise graphic pattern. The varying pile heights create subtle shadows that change throughout the day with the angle of the light. As a result, the rug takes on a slightly different appearance from every angle.

The design is understated enough to blend effortlessly into an interior, yet possesses sufficient character to attract attention as a standalone design object.

100% New Zealand wool

Relevo Quattro is crafted from 100% New Zealand wool and hand-tufted in India. The natural properties of wool give the rug its warm, soft, and high-quality appearance.

The cotton backing is finished with synthetic latex, ensuring the rug lies beautifully flat on the floor. Thanks to its generous weight, the use of a separate anti-slip mat is generally not necessary.

The natural base color of the wool may result in subtle color variations. It is precisely these small differences that emphasize the authentic character of the material and make every rug unique.

Soft design with a powerful presence

With its dimensions of 170 × 240 cm, the Relevo Quattro is ideal for visually connecting various pieces of furniture. For example, place it partially under a sofa and armchairs to create a tranquil seating area, or use it as a soft graphic element in a minimalist space.

Because wool is a natural material, slight color variations may occur. Some pilling is also normal with a new wool rug. This will gradually decrease with regular use and maintenance.

Maintenance

Vacuum the Relevo Quattro rug regularly and gently. Preferably use a vacuum cleaner without a rotating brush head for this, so that the wool fibers are not damaged. Loose fibers and excess lint can be gently vacuumed and will diminish over time.

Professional cleaning is recommended for stains. Avoid cleaning with water, as this may damage the material and construction of the rug.
