The ARBA footstool is a simple yet refined composition of two molded plywood elements, a cross-shaped structure of curved metal profiles, and a cast aluminum base. Its clarity communicates directly with the user.

The footstool has nothing to hide, yet it surprises us the moment we use it. The stool/footstool retains the formal purity of an experimental prototype, while being a well-conceived and precisely crafted industrial product that arrives in a flat box and can be assembled in a few simple steps.
