The Puffin Dining Table by Audo Copenhagen, designed by the Danish studio Atelier Axo, is a spacious dining table in which solid oak and a powerful sculptural construction come together. The design was originally developed for Bobe, a restaurant in Copenhagen, and translates the refined atmosphere of hospitality design into a timeless table for the home.

The character of Puffin is largely determined by the use of solid or veneer oiled oak. The natural grain pattern remains clearly visible and gives each table its own look. The oil finish emphasizes the warmth and tactility of the wood and ensures that the material becomes part of the interior in a natural way.

Below the modest table top is the most characteristic element of the design: the sculptural base. The powerful wooden legs give Puffin an architectural look without making the table visually heavy. The lines of the base change from different angles, so that the table also remains interesting as an object.

With a size of 200 x 95 cm, Puffin offers plenty of space for your daily meals, long dinners and cozy evenings with family or friends. Thanks to its clear design, the table can easily be combined with a variety of dining room chairs, from classic wooden chairs to modern upholstered models.

Although Puffin has its origins in a restaurant environment, the design feels natural in a kitchen or dining room. A dining table full of character in which Scandinavian simplicity, natural materials and sculptural design are beautifully balanced.

About Atelier Axo

Atelier Axo is a Danish design studio that originally developed the Puffin Dining Table for Bobe restaurant in Copenhagen. The design focuses on the interaction between architecture, materials and use. The result is a table that has a clear spatial identity, but at the same time remains functional and versatile.

Timeless Scandinavian design

The Puffin Dining Table is made of solid or veneer oak. Wood is a natural material, so differences in color, grain and structure are inevitable. These variations are not imperfections, but make every Puffin table unique. Through use and exposure to light, the oak will also gradually develop its own patina.
