With balanced tones and tightly woven recycled PET yarn, the Polli rug adds texture, warmth and cohesion to your home.

Polli is a series of sustainable and environmentally friendly  rugs from Normann Copenhagen, made from 100% recycled post-consumer PET yarn and woven in calm, mottled patterns.

The plastic waste is pre-processed into short textile fibres, which are spun into a fine yarn and woven into soft, elegant, ultra-durable carpets that are very easy to maintain due to the material and hardly shed any fibres.

The Polli rug is available in natural shades of sand and dark grey. In two of the variants a light subtle play of green and blue can be seen.

Available in three sizes: 100 x 200, 170 x 240 and 200 x 300 cm.

About the designer:

Simon Legald (born 1986) is a Danish designer. Legald graduated in the summer of 2012 and already has several of its own designs in production. When asked about his own style and design aesthetic, he describes it as "honest with Scandinavian simplicity".
