The PK series from 1963 is one of contrasting materials and shapes, making the PK line an eye-catching design in any room.

The Fritz Hansen PK65 coffee table, designed in 1979, was created with the intention of using it with the extensive PK collection.

The square table top, made of glass, rests on a cubist / industrial-looking three-dimensional base frame that is made of metal. These combinations give the pk series a kind of timeless monumental appearance and will form a natural focal point in any interior, wherever you place it in the room.

The PK65 with the detachable table top demonstrates the principle of using gravity to hold key elements firmly in place, a concept found throughout the PK range.

The dimensions of the coffee table are: Height: 38 cm x Length: 100 cm x Deep: 100 cm.

Materials and finishes:
The PK65 is made with a glass table top. The base is made of satin stainless steel.

About the designer:

Poul Kjaerholm was a trained carpenter and continued his studies at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. He had a particular interest in various building materials; especially steel, which he regarded as a natural material with the same artistic finesse as other natural materials.
