The PK series from 1963 is one of contrasting materials and shapes, making the PK line an eye-catching design in any room.

The square tabletop, made of marble, rests on a cubic / industrial-looking three-dimensional base frame that is made of metal. These combinations give the pk series a kind of timeless monumental appearance and will form a natural focal point in any interior, wherever you place it in the room.

The PK61 with the detachable table top demonstrates the principle of using gravity to hold important elements firmly in place, a concept found throughout the PK series.

The dimensions of the coffee table are: Height: 32 cm x Length: 80 cm x Deep: 80 cm.

Materials and finishes:
The PK61 and 61A comes with a marble table top, in different colours. The square base is made of a satin brushed aluminum.

About the designer:

Poul Kjaerholm was a trained carpenter and continued his studies at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. He had a particular interest in various building materials; especially steel, which he regarded as a natural material with the same artistic finesse as other natural materials.
