The Panton Cubes by Vitra, designed by the legendary Verner Panton, bring one of his most playful and visionary designs from the 1970s back to life. In collaboration with Verner Panton Design AG, Vitra introduces this iconic reissue, making a unique modular building system available once again to a new generation of design enthusiasts.

While many of Verner Panton's designs have a fixed end result, the Panton Cubes were specifically designed as an open and creative building system. The three-dimensional cube-shaped frames are connected using clever clips and can be complemented with colorful panels or shiny chrome elements. This creates an endless world of possibilities in which sculptures, animals, abstract compositions, and small architectural objects come to life.

The collection consists of four separate building sets, allowing you to build a duck, flamingo, cat, or giraffe. Each set contains all the parts to assemble the original design, yet simultaneously invites you to combine the parts again and again. In this way, Verner Panton's original design philosophy is fully preserved: design as a means to stimulate the imagination, not to offer a single fixed solution.

The Panton Cubes are available in two versions. The first version combines vibrant colors from Verner Panton's characteristic color palette, while the second version is finished in high-gloss chrome for a more graphic and sculptural appearance. Both variants were developed in close collaboration with Verner Panton Design AG, ensuring that the designer's original vision regarding color, form, and space has been carefully preserved.

Whether you use them as a creative construction object, a design object, or a decorative sculpture, the Panton Cubes form a unique collector's item in which play, architecture, and design come together in a special way.

About Verner Panton

Verner Panton (1926–1998) is one of the most influential designers of the twentieth century. He gained worldwide fame with his experimental approach to color, geometry, and new materials. His designs challenge traditional notions of furniture and interiors and remain an important source of inspiration within the international design world to this day.
