Material wall lamp - stainless steel.

The Material wall lamp from New Works, as the name suggests, plays with different materials. The lamps of the Material family all have the same shape, but the materials vary from wood and metal to glass, marble, ceramic and concrete.

The design studio Noergaard & Kechayas originally designed the Material series for use in bars and restaurants, but the success of this series has brought the lamp into production for the kitchen or living room.

About the designers:

Danish designers Christian Noergaard and Martin Kechayas founded the design studio Noergaard & Kechayas in 2009. The Copenhagen-based studio focuses on industrial, furniture and lightning design. Noergaard and Kechayas are two very different characters.

Noergaard is calm and thoughtful and has a critical view of design, while Kechayas has many ideas and temperament. When designing, these differences complement each other and create a strong dynamic between the designers.
