The Margin Portable Table Lamp is perfectly sized to bridge the gap between a traditional table lamp and a portable light source. Staying true to the graphic volumes of the series, Margin now takes shape as a thoughtfully designed ambience light.

Not only is it wireless, allowing you to place its warm glow wherever you wish, but the light is also easily adjusted to your preference with the integrated touch dimmer and three different colour temperatures. Place it on your bedside table, bookshelf, or windowsill, where its soft linen exterior and tuned light will add tactility and warmth.

About the designer:

John Astbury is a British-born, Swedish-based designer with a multifaceted background as an anthropologist, boat builder and musician. Astbury graduated in industrial design from Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2011 and founded his own studio in Stockholm in 2014.

He is inspired by archetypes and origins and describes his work as a "process of uncovering stories and symbols within the object and making them visible". Astbury has collaborated with design companies such as Skagerak, Muuto and &Tradition.
