Materials

The seat and backrest are crafted from pressed wood veneer and finished with a durable water-based lacquer. The legs are made of solid wood, ensuring a sturdy and stable construction. The chair is equipped with plastic glides to protect the floor.

In oak veneer and dark stained oak versions, slight variations in color and texture may occur. These natural variations emphasize the authentic character of the wood and make every chair unique. Colors

Maintenance

Clean the chair regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Stains can be removed with a mild mixture of water and a neutral cleaning agent. Avoid sharp objects to prevent damage to the wood and the lacquer finish.

The finish is resistant to cleaning with alcohol-based disinfectants. Please note that wooden furniture develops a natural patina over time, which may result in subtle color changes. This contributes to the unique character of the chair without compromising the quality of the finish.

About the designer:

David Geckeler (1984) is a German industrial designer based in Berlin. In 2012 he graduated from the renowned Universität der Künste Berlin. He started his design studies at the University of Applied Science Potsdam and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.

After completing his studies, David Geckeler has worked on several projects for international clients. Nerd chair for Danish Muuto is one of his first designs to go into production.
