Design studio Noergaard & Kechayas originally designed the Material series for use in bars and restaurants, but it illuminates a conference room, hotel lobby or your own kitchen or living room just as well.

As the name suggests, the Material lamp from New Works plays with different materials. The lamps all have the same shape, but the materials vary from wood and metal to marble, ceramic and concrete. When combined together, Material pendants create unique, eye-catching clusters that form a beautiful light object.

The lamp is available in 10 different materials and colors. With the warmth of oak and cork, the rough of concrete, the classic of marble, the timeless of terracotta or the reflective yellow steel and the luminous opal glass, the Material Pendant provides a versatile addition to any room. The lamps with natural cork, natural oak, light gray concrete, white marble and terracotta come with a white cord. The lamps with mixed cork, smoked oak, dark gray concrete, black marble, glass and yellow steel come with a black cord.

The Material Hanging Lamp has a height of 14 centimeters with a diameter of 13 centimeters.

The designers:

Danish designers Christian Noergaard and Martin Kechayas founded the design studio Noergaard & Kechayas in 2009. The Copenhagen-based studio focuses on industrial, furniture and lightning design. Noergaard and Kechayas are two very different characters. Noergaard is calm and thoughtful and has a critical view of design, while Kechayas has many ideas and temperament. When designing, these differences complement each other and create a strong dynamic between the designers.
