This seemingly simple print called Tiibet was the first design by Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi for the Finnish Marimekko.

About the designer:

Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi worked at Marimekko from 1953 to 1960. With her architectural, sleek designs, she revolutionized the perception of textile design in the 1950s.
