The String System Living Room O is a compact and elegant wall unit that perfectly embodies the characteristic simplicity of Scandinavian design. The wall panels are made of high-quality powder-coated steel and form the recognizable foundation of the iconic String System. The shelves are made of MDF with a luxurious dark oak veneer, giving the minimalist design extra warmth and character.

About the designer

The Swedish architect Nils "Nisse" Strinning (1917–2006) designed the world-famous String System together with his wife Kajsa Strinning. Since its introduction in 1949, the system has grown into an icon of Scandinavian design thanks to its light appearance, modular structure, and timeless styling. String Furniture remains a favorite among lovers of functional and sustainable design.
