American architect and designer Frank Owen Gehry was born on February 28, 1929 in Toronto, Canada as Frank Owen Goldberg. The family emigrated to Los Angeles in 1947. Frank Gehry studied architecture at the University of Southern California and urban planning at Harvard University.
