The stackable Muuto Linear Side chair from the Linear Steel outdoor collection by Thomas Bentzen is elegant and practical and gives your outdoor space extra modernity. Combining inviting organic shapes with comfort and durable qualities, the Linear Steel Armchair is an outdoor chair without compromise. It is defined by its contrasts; the clean lines of the seat and front legs in combination with the ergonomic, smoothly curved backrest for enveloping comfort.

The Linear Steel chair has been rationally designed in the way that the seat is part of the frame, reducing the use of material during the production phase while providing a strong, durable design.

The Linear series is made of powder-coated steel, steel is an alloy of iron with carbon. Powder coated steel has a subtle, structured expression and feels nice due to its light structure, while also adding durability to the design making it more resistant to the elements.

About the designer,

Thomas Bentzen is a Danish designer who graduated from the Copenhagen Design School in 2003. Bentzen founded his own design office in 2010 and is also part of the Copenhagen REMOVE design group. Before setting up his own office, Bentzen worked for five years at Danish firm Louise Campbell.
