J63 Johansson stool.

Ejvind A. Johansson originally designed the stool for the J64 chair, and together they form a beautiful whole.

The J63 stool works particularly well as an extra seat near the dining table, bedroom or living room.

About the designer:

Danish designer Ejvind A. Johansson (1923) was a pioneer of functional modernism and built on the simple style of Børge Mogensen. Johansson studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in 1949, and in 1956 he became chief designer of the Danish furniture factory Fredericia. Johansson aimed for clear, distinctive and also sustainable daily designs - the J63 and J64 are a good example of this principles.
