The Vitra Hal Ply series was created by Jasper Morrison for the leading Swiss furniture company Vitra.

According to the design philosophy of designer Jasper Morrison, something that is considered normal is usually more useful than something special - that is why the HAL series is based on clear, functional principles. The timeless combination of plastic seat and wooden legs creates a versatile collection of chairs for different spaces and needs.

Dimensions: Width 50,5 cm, Depth 53 cm, Height 80.5 cm. Chair height 48 cm.

Available in a natural or dark oak frame, and in a few nice colorways, the HAL Soft Wood chair is an aesthetically pleasing and "back to base", it is covered with a hardwearing premium Credo fabric.

About the designer:

Jasper Morrison lives and works in London and Tokyo. His designs express the "supernormal" design philosophy and do not seek out unusual, unusual results. He often breathes new life into proven solutions by re-interpreting, developing and refining them. He has been working regularly with Vitra since 1989.
