The HL410 wall lamp by Fritz Hansen is an outdoor lamp with a distinct architectural character, designed in 1975 by the famous Danish architect Henning Larsen. With its wide, outwardly curved copper shade and refined design, the lamp radiates both precision and warmth.

The HL410 is designed to direct the light downwards, via an acrylic diffuser that creates a soft, even distribution on the wall and the ground. The uncoated copper shade develops a natural patina over time, allowing the lamp to blend elegantly into its surroundings.

Thanks to the sustainable use of materials and the understated design, the HL410 is ideal for facades, entrances, terraces and walkways. Placed in a row, this lamp forms a harmonious light image along walls or corridors.

About the designer
Henning Larsen (1925–2013) was an influential Danish architect, known for his clear Scandinavian style and masterful use of light. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, MIT and the Architectural Association in London. In 1959 he founded his own firm, Henning Larsen Architects, which has grown to become one of Denmark’s leading architectural firms.

Larsen has achieved international acclaim and has received numerous awards, including the C.F. Hansen Medal and the Japanese Praemium Imperiale. His best-known work is the Copenhagen Opera House (2005), a landmark in modern Danish architecture.
