The Vitra Flock of butterflies wall clock by George Nelson lets the soft play of light flutter on the reflective aluminum 'wings', creating an effect of butterflies flying around.

The clock is made of aluminum which has a nice reflective effect when the sun falls on it.

This clock has a diameter of 61 centimeters and is equipped with a high-quality quartz movement that runs on a 1.5 volt battery (this is included).

About the designer:

George Nelson (1908-1986) was an American architect and designer who is considered one of the greatest American designers of the mid-twentieth century. Nelson studied at Yale University and in Rome, where he became familiar with European architecture and design. After returning to the United States, Nelson joined Herman Miller, where he soon took on the position of Design Director.
