With Level, you get not one, but two rugs in one – or so it seems. This optical illusion, designed by Lena Bergström, transforms a two-dimensional surface into a lively play of depth and structure. Thanks to the hand-tufted wool, cleverly placed shadows and contrasting cutwork, it looks as if one rug is partly laid over another – without a single seam to be found.

The layering and subtle three-dimensionality invite you to touch it, while the refined geometry brings peace and balance to your space. Level is therefore the minimalist counterpart to Bergström's iconic Basket Rug.

Hand-tufted in India from 100% wool with cotton backing
Unique ‘mat-on-mat’ illusion, enhanced by different cutting directions
Available in standard sizes: 200 × 300 cm and 250 × 350 cm

Material: Hand-tufted carpet, 100% wool, cotton backing

Maintenance:
Vacuum regularly to remove dirt particles. Gently dab stains with a clean cloth and lukewarm water – do not soak. A specialist is recommended for thorough cleaning. Wash flat and leave to dry flat.
