The Cover stool, designed by Thomas Bentzen for Muuto, is a contemporary interpretation of the classic wooden chair. The Cover stool consists of a light, rounded veneer shell and strong wooden legs that give it an organic, grounded look. Thanks to its relaxed understated design, the cover will look great in your home around the kitchen island or along the worktop, as well as in bars, cafes and other commercial locations.

When creating the Cover series, the goal of designer Thomas Bentzen was to create a comfortable wooden chair with a strong personality. He named the collection after the thin, molded veneer covers that double as armrests and structural elements that hold the chairs together. The Cover collection consists of chairs for different needs, all available in different finishes and materials.

The designer:

Thomas Bentzen is a Danish designer who graduated from Copenhagen Design School in 2003. Bentzen founded his own design agency in 2010 and is also part of the Copenhagen REMOVE design group. Before setting up his own office, Bentzen spent five years working for the Danish firm Louise Campbell.
