Mater Conscious table, solid oak.

The Conscious Table 5462, designed by Børge Mogensen & Esben Klint for the Danish Mater, is an (extendable) table that has been redesigned and adapted to our time.

It was originally designed to compliment the Børge Mogensen Conscious Chair, which was designed in 1958 by renowned Danish furniture designers and architects Børge Mogensen and Esben Klint.

The Conscious Table 5462 is available with or without extensions.

About the designer Mogensen:

The Danish furniture designer Børge Mogensen (1914 –1972) was one of the most influential designers of the Danish modern. Mogensen studied furniture design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and his designs focused on functionality, minimalist look and easy accessibility. Shortly after graduating, Mogensen was appointed head of the Danish consumer cooperative FDB, which focused on producing functional, durable and affordable furniture for all social classes.
