The Muuto Coltre Center A Module, designed by Studiopepe, forms the heart of the modular Coltre collection. The name Coltre, Italian for "blanket," refers to the soft, quilted upholstery that drapes elegantly over the refined wooden frame. The result is a sofa module that uniquely combines comfort, architecture, and craftsmanship.

The characteristic parallel stitching creates a subtle rhythm and gives the seat an inviting volume. From the side, the Coltre reveals its layered structure, allowing the sculptural design and refined detailing to immediately catch the eye. Thanks to its modular nature, the Center A Module can be used independently as a spacious lounge chair or combined with other Coltre modules to create a fully custom-made seating arrangement.

Upholstered in high-quality Turf – Sand fabric, this module brings a warm, natural look to any interior. Furthermore, the removable cover ensures extra convenience and makes it easy to refresh the sofa's appearance in the future.

Materials

The Coltre Center A Module is built around an FSC™-certified wooden frame (FSC-C028824) with metal springs for optimal seating comfort. A carefully shaped foam construction is finished with a soft, padded top layer that ensures a comfortable and inviting seating feel. The removable fabric cover is attached with zippers and can be easily replaced if necessary. The module rests on elegant legs made of FSC™-certified beech wood and features pre-assembled steel connectors, allowing multiple modules to be linked together seamlessly and securely.
