Morgens Lassen was inspired by the shape of the Shoemaker stool, with which Mogens Lassen has created a striking and timeless stool, a design that has endured for more than eight decades and is still current.

Carefully crafted from solid wood, the stool features the iconic curved seat that follows the contours of the body and provides exceptional comfort without the need for foam or fabric. The T-shaped support provides an impromptu footrest and adds a touch of sleek modernity to the iconic design.

About the designer:

The Danish architect Mogens Lassen produced simple, functional wooden furniture pieces that have since become furniture icons.

After going to school with his brother (Flemming Lassen) and Arne Jacobsen, Mogens also started working in the studio of architect Tyge Hvass. Mogens Lassen brought Danish design international acclaim with numerous awards and medals, including the C.F. Hansen Medal, Denmark's highest architectural award.
