Muurla traces its origins to a small glass factory in the Finnish village of Muurla, where craftsmanship and mouth-blown glass were paramount. What began in 1974 as a modest studio with a roadside café has grown into a modern design house that embodies the essence of Finnish design, functionality, and sustainability.
All collections are designed in Finland by Muurla's own designers, inspired by nature, the four seasons, and the desire to create products that are used daily—but also for those precious moments you want to cherish.
Functionality is at the heart of every design. The enameled cookware is suitable for all heat sources—from induction to open fire—and the glass and ceramic objects combine elegance with versatility. Many vases, for example, function both as flower vases and candle holders: intuitive, clever, and stylish.
In addition to the in-house design studio, Muurla collaborates with external designers and licensing partners to further enrich the collection without losing its distinctive character.
With deep roots in Finnish glass tradition, but with both feet firmly planted in modern life, Muurla brings together timeless design and practical beauty in every product.
