Vitra EM Table Prouvé 260 x 90 cm.
A particularly functional table that describes the table well, the table was designed by designer Jean Prouvé for Vitra.
When designing this table, functionality was the main focus of the designer. Jean Prouvé was a world-famous architect who designed many special objects without following specific training in this direction. It was not without reason that he received the Grand Prix in 1952 and was also the winner of a race at the University of Nancy.
At the age of 80 he also received the Erasmus Prize. Characteristic for this designer is that he sought contemporary solutions for contemporary problems and that he mainly thought in possibilities and not in impossibilities. His enormous mastery of the technique, including the setting of sheet steel, played a role in this.
The bevelled legs of the EM Table Prouvé - Table are connected to each other via a cross beam. Naturally, steel and veneer wood were used to manufacture this table. The frame has the color ecru. The table combines well with various chairs and is a real eye-catcher for any room.
