Vitra Trapèze table.

The Trapèze table by Vitra was initially designed for the Cité Universitaire of Antony in Paris in 1948.The table is very recognizable as a design by Jean Prouvé because of the legs.The table was one of Jean Prouvé's last furniture designs. And owes its name to the shape of the two legs.With this table you bring a piece of design history into your home and it stands out because of its dynamic design.

Specifications Vitra Trapèze table:

Characteristic shape, solid construction and a perfect finish; the Trapèze table is a beautiful piece of design. Both the table top, made of the particularly strong high-pressure laminate, and the frame  made of curved sheet steel with a powder coating are black.

Dimensions: L 223 x W 72.5 x H 72 cm.

About the designer:

Jean Prouvé (1909–1984) was a French craftsman, engineer and self-taught architect and designer, who had a major influence on European post-war design and design philosophy. Social conscience and good accessibility were essential starting points for Prouvé's designs, which were often based on prefabricated houses, modular systems and mass production.
