Hay Soft Edge 82 bar stool.

The stool is made using the latest innovations in molded plywood that enable new three-dimensional shapes and reduce the consumption of natural resources. The result is this Soft Edge, a lightweight bar stool that is very suitable for both your kitchen and restaurants.

In 2021, HAY renewed the surface treatments of its wooden furniture by replacing their paints and varnishes with more environmentally friendly water-based alternatives. Please note that as a result, natural wood furniture now comes with only one lacquer option instead of the previous two: the new water-based lacquer is glossier than the matt lacquer previously used, but slightly more matt than the previous clear lacquer from HAY.

Tip: The low stool is best suited for approx. 90 cm high tables and the high stool for approx. 110 cm high tables.

Iskos-Berlin, based in Copenhagen, is a collaboration between the designers Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos. Founded in 2010, Iskos-Berlin works in furniture design as well as industrial and graphic design.
