Astep Model 548 Table Lamp Brass - Grey.
Design by Italian well known designer Gino Sarfatti.
The adjustable spotlight incorporated into the table lamp shines diagonally towards the lampshade and gives the Model 548 light that is reflected in the lampshade, creating an incredibly refined and diffused effect.
The table lamp has an elegant lampshade made of methacrylate, which is stronger and lighter than glass, while the spotlight is made of white lacquered aluminum. The large base at the bottom of the lamp serves as a counterweight to the lampshade and the spotlight, creating a nice balance between the different elements.
At its relaunch in 2013, the original incandescent bulb was replaced with an LED lighting source and the switch under the lighting source was swapped for an optical dimmer that makes the lamp even more user-friendly.
