Japanese designer Jin Kuramoto delved deeply into the possibility of bending materials for his design such as the knots of ropes and curved metal rods, the result is a simple yet iconic coat rack with a distinctive design.

With its unique shape and aesthetic appearance, the Hay Knit is a real eye-catcher that looks great in both private and public spaces!

The three tubes are easily mounted together by means of 3 screws. The powder-coated steel tubes with a luxurious high-gloss finish are firmly "knotted" in a three-dimensional way to support each other.

About the designer:

Born in Japan in 1976, the designer Jin Kuramoto founded JIN KURAMOTO STUDIO INC in 2008 and his product portfolio is impressive. From furniture to household appliances, cars and everyday objects, everything is included. The designs are characterized by Kuramoto's belief that things tell their story through their form.

His designs mainly come about through the continuous process of trial and error and causing 'positive accidents'. Designer Kuramoto attaches great importance to moving materials and prototyping in a studio full of inspiration. His work has won numerous international awards, including the Red Dot Award 'Best of the Best' and the iF Product Design Award.
