A wave on the water was the source of inspiration for designer Monika Mulder for the modern Hans lamp, there is also a table and floor lamp variant.

The beautiful Hans pendant lamp was designed by designer Monika Mulder and is produced by the Swedish label Pholc. Monika Mulder chose the name Hans because she was inspired by the work of the well-known designer Hans Wegner and for this lamp also by the movement of the waves on the water. The hanging lamp is available in matt black or white lacquered aluminum. The shade with a diameter of 50 cm has a quirky and playful design that will certainly stand out in your interior. The Hans Lamps series by Monika Mulder also includes a Hans table lamp and a Hans floor lamp.

The designer:

Monika Mulder is a Dutch designer who graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 1997. Mulder started her career in the design department of IKEA and has had her own design studio in Gothenburg since 2007, with clients such as lamp brand Pholc. Mulder emphasizes the sculptural elements of objects in her design and wants to combine fluid functionality with beauty and playfulness. Mulder's work has been awarded with prizes such as the best furniture of the year 2003 and the best lamp of the year 2017 at the Elle Decoration Swedish Design Awards.
