This beautiful greenhouse is able to create a small garden in your house thanks to its large size.
Made from solid ash, with safety glass, and a bottom made of steel.
The Greenhouse is a design object with ambitions, a sculpture that turns your room into a place of nature. Green plants are often a neglected area that requires innovative design solutions; exactly what Greenhouse offers.
Design duo Atelier 2+ has created a greenhouse that is small enough for indoor use, but large enough to create a miniature garden. Studio 2+ places green on a pedestal and protects it with glass as the delicate and beautiful item it deserves to be. - even in public places.
Worapong Manupipatpong and Ada Chirakranont are Atelier 2+, a design studio based in Bangkok. The duo studied at KMITL in Bangkok and with Konstfack in Stockholm and their designs show that Scandinavian Design is a concept that is not limited by nationality. In their work they try to blur the boundaries between architecture and furniture, art and design.
Worapong Manupipatpong and Ada Chirakranont originally created Greenhouse for the magazine's annual design prize for Wallpaper. The Greenhouse was their way of interpreting the concept of 'handmade' as a term that not only relates to the manufacture of the article, but also to the way in which it is cherished. That means the care we give plants.
"Kas is a product of our stay in Sweden," explains Worapong Manupipatpong. "When we lived in Sweden, we felt the need to get closer to nature and make space in our home for the nature around us.
