The Bovist ottoman owes its multifunctional shape and good seating comfort to the lateral, frequently occupied cover with filling of plastic beads. The upholstery is made of 87% wool, 7% cotton and 6% polyamide.

The Bovist footstool has recently undergone an update in terms of color and design, inspired by the newly introduced Butterfly Sofa. They are small masterpieces with rich patterns, colors and textures, created by the Dutch textile guru Hella Jongerius. There is a matching ottoman for every sofa, but of course you can also easily place this ottoman in your interior without the butterfly sofa.

About the designer:

The Dutch designer Hella Jongerius lives and works in Berlin. She founded the design studio Jongerius lab in 1993 and started her collaboration with Vitra in 2004. Since then, she has not only made an essential contribution to the ever-growing Vitra Home Collection, but also applied her expertise in colors and materials to the Vitra. Color & Material Library.
