Design by Achille Castiglioni.

The Lampadina table lamp exudes industrial aesthetics with a name that denotes the playful simplicity of the design, lampadina is Italian for "light bulb". Lampadina, designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1972, consists of a round, partially sandblasted lamp without shade and a coil-like base containing the excess power cord. Despite the industrial and perhaps somewhat masculine appearance, Lampadina gives a soft, diffused light thanks to the sandblasted glass ball.
