Unique and sculptural design by Simon legald. Eddy, the table lamp, is an art of proportion: an airy shade floats above a weighty, organic base, creating a design in balance and motion. Steel and marble make up the main elements, while golden shimmers of brass put the dot on the ‘i' on this atmospheric lamp.

The table lamp consists of a plane steel screen with integrated LED light source that balances on a lamp base made of hand turned Italian marble. Brass dimmer on top of the lampshade and a textile-covered cord

The light lampshade almost seems to float above the heavy, organic base of the lamp. Steel and marble are the main elements of the Eddy table lamp, but the shimmering of the copper on the top of the lamp provides the extra accent.

The Eddy table lamp not only looks charming, but also consists of a clever example of innovation. The steel screen with integrated LED light source can be tilted via a copper rotating ball.

For example, the direction of the light can be tilted at your own discretion, and the intrigued dimmer of the lamp is also located here. The base is made of hand-turned Italian marble.

The designer Simon Legald,

Designer Simon Legald enjoyed building and drawing (three-dimensionally) at an early age. He decided to study in that field at a later age. Danish designer Simon Legald graduated from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in the summer of 2012. He designs and makes furniture and lighting for Normann Copenhagen, among others. By applying simplicity and functionality, he logically responds to the characteristics of Scandinavian design.
