The Connect bed by Hay bed combines the influences of traditional woodworking methods with the style and techniques of modern Scandinavian design.

The bed is a design by Danish architect Leif Jørgensen.

Due to its minimalist look, the bed fits into various interiors.

The structure of the Connect bed is a balanced combination of highly refined elements: the metal side and end rails fit together seamlessly and form a sturdy and simple frame with slim, angular legs. The bed is fastened together with eight screws that give their own character to the industrial look of the bed. A connection has also been placed in the frame in each corner, for extra strength and as a reference to conventional carpentry.

The two large sizes have two center beams for extra strength and support.

Please note: the bed is sold without a mattress or slatted base, these can be ordered separately.

The 140 cm bed has no center beam.

About the designer:

The Danish architect Leif Jørgensen is best known for the design of the Diesel brand stores in Scandinavia. Today he mainly works with Hay, for whom he has designed the Loop series, among other things. The work of Jørgensens is characterized by the convergence of design and architecture.
