Fredericia Canvas chair.
The Fredericia's Canvas chair from 1970 is one of the last designs by the legendary Danish designer Børge Mogensen. He created the clean-lined, minimalist chair as a protest against the colorful plastic furniture that was popular at the time, in order to restore harmony and naturalness to people's homes using simple shapes and high-quality materials.
The Canvas chair is easily recognizable as Mogensen's work due to the strong vertical and horizontal lines of the design. The lines also enhance the contrast created by the flat canvas between pieces of round wood and the frame made up of rectangular pieces of oak. Despite its angular silhouette, the Canvas chair is characterized by a serene appearance that easily adapts to a variety of interiors.
